Melbourne Renegades closed the gap on table-toppers Sydney Sixers to two points with a thumping 10-wicket win over Brisbane Heat.
Batting first, Heat had no answers to a combined bowling effort from the hosts as they were shot out for a paltry 66. Lea Tahuhu, Molly Strano, Georgia Wareham and Amy Satterthwaite all picked two wickets apiece as Heat succumbed to a low score.
Beth Mooney and Deandra Dotting were the only batters to have gotten into double figures in a shambolic batting display for Heat.
In reply, Sophie Molineux and Chamari Athapaththu shared an unbeaten 67-run stand for the first wicket to give Renegades their third win of the season in just 10.5 overs.
With the win, Renegades have six points from five games and are placed fourth on the eight-team table. Heat, meanwhile, continue to meander in the bottom half with just two points in four games.
Brief Scores: Brisbane Heat 66 (Deandra Dottin 14, Amy Satterthwaite 2-5, Lea Tahuhu 2-10) lost to Melbourne Renegades 67/0 (Sophie Molineux 45*, Chamari Athapaththu 20*) by 10 wickets.
There was a similar batting collapse at Sydney with Hobart Hurricanes folding for 98 after batting first. It again took a combined bowling effort from the opposition to skittle out the team batting first.
Veda Krishnamurthy top-scored for Hurricanes with 16, but just like four others in the line-up, she failed to convert her start into something more significant.
Dane van Niekerk and Sarah Aley picked up two wickets each, while Marizanne Kapp, Elysse Perry, Lauren Smith and Kim Garth took one each.
In reply, Sixers lost Alyssa Healy early, but Perry and Erin Burns hit unbeaten 40s to take the side home in the 14th over.
With the win, Sixers moved top of the table with eight points in six games, while Hurricanes remain winless in four attempts.
Brief Scores: Hobart Hurricanes 98 (Veda Krishnamurthy 16, Dane van Niekerk 2-18, Sarah Aley 2-18) lost to Sydney Sixers 99/1 (Erin Burns 48*, Elysse Perry 41*) by nine wickets.
