Live cricket score: India vs Sri Lanka, 1st ODI, Dharamsala

Five down for 16
The wickets keep tumbling. India are in tatters on a wicket that's offering a little seam movement. There is also some swing on offer but nothing that should have a team at 16 for 5. Cape Town in 25 days!
Manish Pandey looked all at sea with his (natural) footwork. Looks to work Lakmal to the leg side. Gets a leading edge and is caught in the slips. Then Shreyas Iyer chops on one to the stumps to give Nuwan Pradeep a wicket!

Another for Lakmal:
Having struggled throughout his stay, Dinesh Karthik departs for a 18-ball duck, trapped in front by a Lakmal delivery that moved in. India are 8 for 3.
Beaten all ends up:
In-swinger or out-swinger, which way is the ball going? Dinesh Karthik and Shreyas Iyer don't seem to have the answers right now as they have been beaten several times on a pitch that seems to have some moisture and is assisting the bowlers. Mathews and Lakmal have moved the ball both ways and are having a lot of fun with the Indian batsmen appearing clueless. India are 7 for 2 after 8 overs.
Rohit departs cheaply
The first runs of the match comes in the third over when Rohit flicks a Lakmal delivery past mid-wicket for a couple. But Sri Lanka continue to pose questions as debutant Shreyas Iyer seems to be in nfor a tough ODI initiation. Meanwhile, another setback for India as skipper Rohit is dismissed by Lakmal. The umpire initially thought Rohit was beaten on the outside edge, but upon review, Snicko detected a spike, which meant that Sri Lanka yet again made use of the DRS successfully to reverse an onfield decision. India in a lot of trouble at 2 for 2.
Dhawan falls early:
Suranga Lakmal had found the outside edge of Rohit Sharma's bat in the opening over, only was the ball to die down on the way to gully. Shikhar Dhawan was troubled by Mathews, who beat the bat twice with away moving deliveries. Wwhen he got one to hold the line, Dhawan was struck on the pads and Sri Lanka made use of the DRS successfully to reverse the original not-out decision. After two overs, India are yet to score a run and have lost Dhawan. Good start for Sri Lanka.
Toss and Teams:
Sri Lanka's new ODI skipper Thisara Perera won the toss and asked India to bat.
Rohit Sharma: Good pitch. It is a good toss to lose. There would be initial assistance for the new ball bowlers. I am really honoured to be captain of Team India. It is a great responsibility. It is a great challenge. I have a great set of players with me. We would want to do something special today.
Thisara Perera: We want to bowl first. It looks like a good batting track. We want to chase. We want to do well. Some players are coming off injury.
