India Women to host England for three ODIs in April 2018

India Women will host England for a three-match ODI series in April, the BCCI announced on Monday (December 25). The series will take place soon after the completion of the T20I tri-series involving India, Australia and England, which is preceded by a three-match ODI series against Australia from March 12 to 18.
"The England Women's Cricket Team that will tour India in March 2018 to take part in the T20I tri-series featuring India Women and Australia Women will also play a three-match ODI series as part of a bilateral agreement between the two Boards," stated a media release from the BCCI.
India's opening ODI against England will be played on April 8, five days after the tri-series final. The second and the third ODIs will be played on April 11 and 14 respectively. The venue for the series haven't been announced yet.
The last time India played a home game against England was in February 2013 during the Women's World Cup. They haven't played a bilateral ODI series against England at home since 2010. The two teams previously met during the 2017 World Cup in which India defeated England in the initial stage before losing to them in the final.
